Our fearless leader Ken combines entrepreneurship with a wicked sense of humour and a passion for Charlie’s Cookies. Never reluctant to roll his sleeves up and help out, he’s also not shy about telling you what he really thinks! Ken has spent the last five years getting to know the food industry inside out… and he’s keen to take Charlie’s Cookies right to the top!
Jacky Magid
Marketing Manager, Sales
Every company needs a ‘type A’ personality, and we’re lucky that at Charlie’s, it’s Jacky. She’s filled with energy and her enthusiasm is contagious. Jacky also has years of experience where it counts – not just in sales and customer service, but in cookie baking and eating! Chatting with Jacky makes the sales process a joy – so if you’re a customer, potential customer or distributor, please feel free to bombard her with cookie requests. She loves cookie requests!
Sharon
Sales Manager
With an infectious laugh and abundant enthusiasm, Sharon joins Charlie’s with a wealth of experience in the food service industry and supply chain. Always one to make you smile we’re sure our customers will love her as much as we do!
Ian
Warehouse Manager
From wrapping cookies to packing orders there’s not much this warehouse wiz can’t do! Hailing from the beautiful state of South Australia, he is a mad Sydney Swans supporter and a fantastic addition to the Charlie’s team.
Erika
Bookkeeper and Compliance Manager - On Maternity Leave , Office
Erika is the organisation queen of our office. Need a job done fast? Need a price? A cost or spreadsheet? Well then, Erika’s your woman! And it’s a good thing she’s so efficient, because Erika is also mummy to delicious, pink-cheeked Monique and now the angelic baby boy Blake. Wait ’til they are old enough to figure out that mum works at a cookie factory! Currently on maternity leave, we are eagerly anticipating Erika’s return to Charlie’s in 2012!
Emma
Receptionist and Customer Service Manager, Office
Who’s that lovely lady who makes sure your orders are taken correctly and efficiently? It’s Emma, the multi-tasking whizkid on the Charlie’s team! She’s bubbly, enthusiastic, and great on the phone. But we think we know what keeps Emma in such a good mood… it’s the cookies that her colleague Erika feeds her for morning and afternoon tea!
Paul Terry
Cookie Mixer & Shift Supervisor , Bakery
Magic Mixer; Tall Paul and now our morning shift supervisor… our dedicated and experienced cookie dough maker has many nicknames, but one special talent – dreaming up new ideas to improve and grow our cookie selection. Actually, make that two talents – Paul is also excellent at golf. Seriously, don’t tee off with him unless you’re okay with coming second.
Alan
Production Manager, Bakery
Alan is our very own lean mean cookie-making machine. The six-foot tall Scotsman comes to us from Potts Bakery and before that bakeries in the UK. He is a baker with a life time of baking experience and Charlie’s is all the better for it. (Although he is now disappointed) he is a mad keen Hawthorn supporter and tells us he is pretty good on the lawn bowls green… we are yet to see.
Atul
Financial Controller , Office
Quick and Clean books Atul – every business should have one! He is friendly on the phone, funny in the office and loves to report it, spreadsheet it, pay it and of course recoup it. While he is vegetarian, he is still able to enjoy sampling our cookies – he is currently working his way, systematically, through our range!
